Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup spicy salsa or enchilada sauce
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños optional
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter for pan-searing
  • Optional toppings: sour cream cilantro, extra salsa

Method
 

  1. Cook the Meat:
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning.
  3. Prepare the Filling:
  4. Warm refried beans and spread a layer over each tortilla. Top with seasoned meat.
  5. Add Cheese and Salsa:
  6. Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese, then drizzle with spicy salsa or enchilada sauce.
  7. Roll the Burritos:
  8. Fold the sides inward and roll tightly to seal all the ingredients.
  9. Cook:
  10. Option 1 (Pan Method): Heat olive oil in a pan and sear burritos on each side until golden and crispy.
  11. Option 2 (Oven Method): Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10–12 minutes until crisp and melted.
  12. Serve:
  13. Slice in half and serve hot with sour cream, cilantro.
