Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bow tie pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Brown the Beef:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat if needed.
Add Aromatics:
Stir in chopped onion and garlic, cooking for 2–3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
Make the Sauce:
Pour in beef broth to deglaze the pan. Lower the heat, then add cream, Greek yogurt (or cream cheese), Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir well until creamy and smooth.
Combine Everything:
Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly. If the sauce feels too thick, add a little pasta water. Stir in spinach or peas and cook for 1–2 minutes until heated through.
Serve:
Garnish with extra Parmesan and black pepper. Serve warm and enjoy!
