Ingredients

  • Dry Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Wet Ingredients
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • For Rolling

Method

  1. Mix the Dry Ingredients
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, coconut, cocoa powder, and salt.
  3. Stir well to evenly distribute the cocoa throughout the mixture.
  4. Add the Wet Ingredients
  5. Add peanut butter, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla to the bowl.
  6. Mix using a spatula or your hands until a thick, sticky dough forms.
  7. If the mixture feels too dry, add 1–2 tbsp more condensed milk.
  8. If too wet, add 1–2 tbsp extra oats.
  9. Shape the Moose Farts
  10. Scoop small portions (about 1 tablespoon each).
  11. Roll into smooth bite-size balls using your hands.
  12. Coat in Coconut

  16. Place all rolled bites onto a tray or plate.
  17. Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes until firm.
  18. Serve chilled for best texture.

Notes

You can swap the peanut butter for almond butter, cashew butter, or sunflower butter.
To make gluten-free: Use certified GF oats.
For extra sweetness: Add mini chocolate chips or drizzle with melted chocolate.
Make-ahead friendly: These store well in the fridge for 7 days or in the freezer for 3 months.
To reduce sweetness: Use unsweetened coconut and a bit less condensed milk.
Add-ins to try: Crushed pretzels, chopped nuts, freeze-dried berries, or a swirl of maple syrup.
