  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
  • ¼ cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Sear the Beef:
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef cubes in batches and sear until browned on all sides (1–2 minutes per side).
  3. Load the Slow Cooker:
  4. Transfer the seared beef to your slow cooker. Add garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, and thyme or rosemary.
  5. Add Liquids:
  6. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Stir gently to coat all the beef with flavor.
  7. Cook:
  8. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until beef is tender and flavorful.
  9. Finish with Butter:
  10. About 15 minutes before serving, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and stir it into the slow cooker for a rich, glossy sauce.
  11. Serve:
