Ingredients
  

  • Chicken & noodles
  • 10 oz 280 g noodles (egg noodles, ramen, or spaghetti)
  • 1 lb 450 g chicken breast or thighs, diced
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sticky garlic sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce low sodium
  • 3 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or lime juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • Optional
  • 1 –2 cups veggies broccoli, carrots, snap peas, peppers
  • Sliced green onions sesame seeds, chili flakes

Method
 

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook chicken: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high. Season chicken and cook 5–7 minutes until golden and done. Remove.
  3. Build flavor: Add garlic and ginger to the pan; cook 30 seconds.
  4. Make sauce: Whisk soy sauce, honey, vinegar, water, and cornstarch. Pour into pan and simmer until thick and glossy.
  5. Combine: Return chicken and noodles to the pan. Toss until fully coated.
  6. Serve: Stir in veggies if using. Garnish and enjoy hot.

Notes

Use low-sodium soy sauce to control saltiness.
Add more honey for sweeter noodles or chili flakes for heat.
Keep noodles and sauce separate for better reheating.
Swap chicken for tofu to make it vegetarian.
